The season of new growth is here and it’s the time again to put together a list of books as well as crafts for you to share with your SEN children! It is time to include spring special education resourcesto get the students focused. We have put together a list of spring-themed interactive books for your special needs classroom. 

These books have attractive text with vivid pictures that can be used throughout the year as well. These books are picture-perfect for the spring season. Please note that these books are for kindergarten through 3rd-grade.

Vocabulary targeted to consist of: duckling, kitten, puppy, calf, chick, kid, lamb, and foal. Targeted verbs include: playing (baseball), planting (flowers), mopping, swinging, jumping (in puddles), watering (plants), walking (the dog), flying (a kite), and sliding (on a slide). This book majorly targets verbs and portrays common activities that people do in the spring.

These books are boundless for all ages. These creative books focus on spring vocabulary, focused on gardening, animal babies, spring cleaning, and signs of spring. Some of them include moveable pictures and words. Some books target nouns while some nouns and verbs and some primary verbs.
